THE TAKE DOWN

 

 

 

Hypothetically if the following events etc took place what conclusion would a rational person make with result to their collective impact on the nation where they occurred?

 

If a government refused to make its borders absolutely secure...

 

If its general policy regarding illegal aliens was a pathway to amnesty and citizenship...

 

If it sold illegal guns to drug cartels in another country which were then used to kill innocents in both countries...

 

If it fought two hard wars against terrorists and then walked away leaving the defeated enemy to return and the blood and treasure sacrifice of their military to be for nothing...

 

If it drew a red line publically to make a foreign government from stop killing it's citizens and when they didn't ... there was no action taken...

 

If it signed a treaty claiming that it stopped a foreign government that sponsored terrorism from obtaining nuclear weapons and  then it disclosed later that the treaty did no such thing...

 

If it allowed an ally to be overthrown and a terrorist friendly government that was not a friend to be put in its place...

 

If it pressured and threatened the only democratic ally in a volatile region  to make suicidal concessions that would  create an existential threat for them...

 

If it refused to acknowledge that former global enemies were rearming and once again making threatening statements and actions...

 

If it had longstanding mutual defense treaties or agreements to protect the borders of friendly nations and did nothing when when these countries were threatened or invaded.....

 

If it refused to provide security for a critical consulate which then was attacked by terrorists with a loss of life and no one was caught and punished as it  lied about who did it and what caused it...

 

If it was confronted by enemy states with WMDs who were rearming  and terrorist networks trying to obtain WMDs who were growing and it deliberately slashed it's military capacity to defend the nation while making it vulnerable to attack from either or both..

 

If it was the strongest nation in the world but allowed weaker governments in their sphere of influence  to ally themselves with old and new enemies without consequences...

 

If it was the leader of other free nations and decided not to lead and began instead to  appease nations who were historic enemies who hated freedom and democracy...

 

If it deliberately weakened it's economy by operating with policies that increased its debt substantially...increased its deficits...increased unemployment...increased the size of government...increased individual dependency on government and refused to modify social safety net programs that were going broke...

 

If it used unconstitutional means to alter legislation thereby weakening the rule of law and it's Constitution...

 

If it took control of the nations health care and immediately made millions of people lose their coverage, their doctors, their medications and their hospitals and offered instead sub standard coverage that was unaffordable and inappropriate...

 

If its leader  lied to the citizens about what major legislation critical to them and their familes really meant so he could get it passed...

 

If it used laws, regulations,policies and the organs of the state to attack freedom of religion...

 

If it used its tax collecting agency to investigate and attack political opposition groups and individuals...

 

If a government spied on its citizens via telephones and the inter net...

 

If it deliberately caused the price of energy to increase for ideological reasons causing great financial hardship to the average citizen  re electricity, heating and transportation...

 

If it used its regulatory power to regulate water on private property...dramatically hinder the drilling and use of oil, gas and coal and the expulsion of.CO2 into the atmosphere...including by breathing...

 

If it denied critical water for crops because a small fish that they deem endangered...

 

If it.  by the above and other policies made the cost of food increase...

 

If it  used religious radicals with links to terrorists to train law enforcement on sensitivity to their religion...

 

If it refused to enforce the laws of the land and the Constitution...

 

If it refused to guarantee fair and honest elections and used its powers to make voting fraud possible...

 

If a government weakened the ability of the intelligence agencies to function efficiently and objectively...

 

If it, after 11 different studies that  proved the nations electrical grid was woefully vulnerable to various types of sabotage including complete destruction ... did nothing to protect it...

 

If it protected inferior schools that failed students and tried to shut down alternative schools and funding for schools that were successful particularly for minority and poor children...

 

If it tried to manage the news and media and intimidate reporters...

 

If it operated with policies that rewarded unwed births, not seeking work and dependency on the state... 

 

If it cut the salaries and benefits of its military to allegedly reduce the debt while unable or unwilling to efficiently and effectively  help its veterans including wounded veterans...

 

If it took over major aspects of  education and  made the cost of college prohibitive and the content of much of the curriculum ...propaganda...

 

If its leader bowed to  foreign leaders and apologized to other nations for his country past imaginary sins...

 

If its economic, budgetary and regulatory policies made it next to impossible for the economy to grow...

 

If it advocated policies to make drugs legal...

 

If its leader refused to talk seriously to his political opposition about joint solutions to critical national problems...

 

If it voluntarily surrendered control of the Internet...

 

If it attempted to disarm its citizens...

 

If all of this happened ...what would you call it...incompetence...coincidence...ideology...bad luck?  Or would you call it for what is is...a take down of a nation.

All of a sudden, as if it were 1854  and the "Great Game" was  again afoot ...  we find ourselves thrust back into the Crimea where Russia once more ...ad nauseam... acts the bully while playacting the savior.  History once again comes back to bite us on the ass because we still don't get  that human nature as chronicled by history, is replete with nasty and horrendous people.

 

During the last 14 years we have witnessed the return of an Islamic Jihad bent on world conquest, something which seemed to have died a slow and strangulating death between the siege of Vienna and the demise of the Ottoman Caliphate.  It was as if humankind was exhausted by  a thousand years of fighting over God and decided to take a time out which we then foolishly believed to be the end of something instead of a mere intermission.

 

The contest between Russia and the west which culminated in the rise and fall of the Soviet empire, we also believed to be a relic of the past.  When the wall in Berlin came down and the "evil" empire with its socialist underpinnings disintegrated into independent nations, some historians proclaimed it to be the "End of History". 

 

China, a four thousand year old civilization without peer,  began a rapid decline in the 18th and 19th centuries fueled by opium which addicted the masses and destroyed the "Middle Kingdom" all to the benefit of those who brought it to the Chinese people. The internal response to this national disgrace led directly to the the People's Republic, and the end of any semblance of democracy and now  that government's  clear intent to regain its preeminent and predominate position in the affairs of mankind without regard to liberty and justice and  particularly at the expense of the United States. 

 

Out of the cauldron of a violent world history, emerged America over 200 years ago, We were for the first time a great experiment  in individual rights coupled with individual responsibilities thereby making the need for suffocating government and men on horseback almost unnecessary.  We were a nation of laws and not men and that made us ...exceptional before all the peoples of the world.  Our credo was the golden rule and we fought wars with both foreign strangers and   family members in order to make that ideal come true.  We were told by the founders that this thing called freedom would be hard and that we would have to be eternally vigilant because what we had was fragile and far too easy to lose when if we did  not pay attention.

 

We and the rest of humanity learned the hard way that the only true barrier to war was the ability to prove to those who wanted it, that it would mean their destruction because of our ability and determination,if necessary, to destroy them first, .  We never wanted this duty but history foists the responsibility for peace and justice on those who finally learn that if they don't want chaos then they must guarantee order. 

 

History also was filled with examples of great nations and empires who provided that order only in the end to grow weary, weak  and diseased from within, as they disappeared from view...some forever.

 

America is at the crossroads of history today.  We have been here before, but each time it is always very different.  This time we have leaders who want to fundamentally change us.  They want us to become less independent...less free...less exceptional.  They also want us to cease and desist from providing the order and the leadership for a world more dangerous than in any time in our collective and historic memories.  Many of them believe that history began with them and nothing of consequence occurred before the world was fortunate enough to be graced by their presence.

 

We cannot allow people who know nothing about the past to force us to follow their ignorant and arrogant pathway  to the future.     They have an infantile grasp of reality and human nature because they have rejected all that has come before.  They reject the very concept of evil because they also reject the very concept of good.  In the end they cannot determine if  Putin is a good guy or a bad guy because everything is relative and who are we to judge?  And therein lies the easy road to our demise. 

 

These are the apostles of fundamental change who know nothing about fundamental human nature.  Worse they do not know what they do not know all the while making policy for... what they do not know.

 

The predictability of human nature should be our guide  to matters of power and affairs of state.  Our need to understand the human condition is one salient reason we read history and great literature, watch  great drama and study scripture.  Art confirms for us all the admonitions we have been taught about sinners and saints and monsters and angels. 

 

 No law can legislate bad men to be good.  The law can only give us the tools to contest and control the wicked  and protect and educate the innocent.  When those tools are broken or taken away, then all hell breaks loose.  This is as certain as the rising and setting of the sun.

 

There is some perverse gene that humanity carries which condemns us to struggle towards goodness while the primal tries to drag us back into the wilderness.  Politics is at its essence the ability to manage the predators in order to allow the prey to survive and even thrive in an always precarious safety.

 

All of the above is incomprehensible to those in command of the  nation today.  Their naivete as to how the world works puts the entire world in mortal danger.  Today there are no guards in the watchtowers of the Republic.  Only dame fortune and  our history, ironically understood by our adversaries while ignored and derided by our leaders, has kept us, up to now, from the abyss.

 

Keeping order and the peace requires strength, wisdom and being a bit of an warrior or a hunter.  Only they can fully understand what Shakespeare called "the evil that men do" that "lives after them" .  They know that wild beasts with tortured souls wait in the tall grass to devour us just because they believe they can.  There is no logic here save the logical madness of the jungle.  The self styled civilized don't think this way so they rarely if ever, see the brutes coming for them.

 

Today we stand on one side of a wall that we have built to keep us safe.  Instead it's function has been distorted to separate us from a world  we are disengaging from. We relinquish our leadership to... we know not who nor do we care.  It is our penance for all the "terrible" things we have had to do in the name of protecting freedom in the world over the last 70 years.  At least that is how the fantasy rationale underpinning our fantasy foreign policy and our fantasy domestic policy explains it.

 

 Today instead of achieving things ...we wish for them and incredibly, expect like children, that wishing will make it so.  Wishing is a drug that has killed empires and civilizations.  The reality of the world is and always has been that it is only safe to wish when you have the power, knowledge, skills and the will to lawfully make that wish come true. Then and only then can we find some respite for a time before  the cycle of forgetting, ignorance and violence... begins anew.

 

The Norse myths like many other cultures have a doomsday scenario which is grounded in the fateful nature of both men and their Gods.  The Ragnarök in part says the following about mankind's appetite for ages of self destruction followed by renewal and then another inevitable age of mayhem followed again by rebirth... ad infinitum...

 

"Brothers will fight and kill each other,sisters' children will defile kinship

It is harsh in the world,

whoredom rife —an axe age, a sword age —shields are riven—

a wind age, a wolf age—before the world goes headlong....No man will have mercy on another. "

 

 Man's fate is still to perpetually be on guard  in order that "the better angels of our nature" can survive and  prevail in a world that remains only minutes away at any given time from... Ragnarök.

2014

 

The year of action has begun.  The pen and phone offensive promised by Barack Obama is in full swing by the cast of White House characters  who see problems, self created or otherwise, as opportunities for committing political homicide upon their enemies rather than obligations to find solutions for the people.

Weeks ago, it was predicted that the White House would act aggressively to change the national conversation now dominated by the economy, joblessness and "ObamaCare".

So far we have the following issues before us...all designed to to divert our attention away from the economic, military, constitutional and cultural disintegration of the nation.

The FCC attempt to monitor news organizations...

Raising the minimum wage to $10.10 an hour...

The decimation of our military capabilities via the 2014  Defense budget...

The declaration by AG Holder,  that states Attorneys General should seriously consider not enforcing anti same sex marriage laws passed in their states...

The continued reluctance of the President to approve the XL Pipeline...

The continued aggressive efforts of the EPA to shut down the coal industry...

The overarching goal of the Administration to legislate the elimination of income inequality...

The use of the theory of "Disparate Impact"  to justify almost every radical action the Administration decides to take...

The continuous efforts to fast track  pathways to citizenship for people illegally in the country...

The effort to establish "Universal Pre-K" nation wide...

Legalization in some form of posessing and/or using marijuana... 

The attempt by the USDOJ to reinstate section 5 of the Voting Rights Act in order to continue to control how elections are run by states and localities. while attacking state voter ID laws as racist..

Restriction of political speech by 501 ( c ) ( 4 ) entities by the IRS...

 

A phoney war on women...

 

All people with Obamacare horror stories are liars...

 

All of the above were designed to do two things..at least on the surface.move the Presidents agenda of fundamental progressive change ...and more importantly appeal to the hard left, identity politics, union and radicalenvironmental coalition that is Obama's base, in order to gin  this up for the 2014 midterm elections. 

If Obama loses the Senate, and the House remains in GOP hands, then his final two years will be difficult if not impossible.  If the numbers in both chambers grow to  veto proof levels then even that arrow will be removed from his quiver.  If the election is a total "blow out" then even the possibility of impeachment would loom even with little evidence that so called mainstream Republicans have any appetite to sack the first black President in US history. 

The political calculus employed by the White House is about as evil as evil can be.  The cuts in the military for example are designed to personally hurt serving and retired personnel and their families while simultaneously setting off a firestorm pitting national security and national defense needs against anyone and everyone receiving a government benefit or entitlement. 

Failure to approve the Keystone XL Pipe Line keeps the environmental hardliners happy while giving the shaft to dwindling private sector construction trade unions and other  non unionized workers who  desperately needs these jobs.  Likewise unionized mine workers are also facing the loss of their jobs due to the EPA's regulations designed to kill the coal industry.  In both cases, a cold political calculation has been made as to whom has the hard core votes that can be counted on. 

The crusade to abolish income inequality is yet another effort to promote class, gender  and racial warfare with the administration believing that they have now entrapped  enough Americans in dependency to make them fearful and angry because of a mythical super class that has all the money while the mythical 99% has an ever shrinking  share of a pie that the progressives will not or do not, know how to grow larger.  The President's vow to increase the minimum wage to $10.10 an hour  is facing opposition even from Democrats in districts and states hard hit by a recession that will not go way but nonetheless is another key element in this preemptive battle. 

Everything these people will now do, will at some level have an element of the discredited theory of "disparate impact" at its core.  Disparate Impact is a statistical and legal methodology that posits that  results for minorities and other protected groups that are not in proportion to the % presence of such groups in the general population is prima facie evidence of discrimination. 

USAG Eric Holder who loves Disparate Impact also is trying to overturn a Supreme Court decision  ending federal oversight of  certain states and localities who had old out of date records of racial discrimination with regards to voting.by using regulatory and legal sleight of hand.  Additionally he has admonished states Attorneys General to consider not enforcing state laws prohibiting same sex marriage.  This is designed to energize the GLBTQ community to donate to Democrats and come out in force in November.  The irony here should not be lost in a sea of hypocrisy, that his boss Barack Obama did not support same sex marriage until 2012 when he "evolved".   Coinciding with this effort was the contentious and ill advised fight in Arizona over SB 1062 which purported to uphold an individuals religious conviction with respect to homosexuality by giving people providing public accommodations the right to deny their goods and services to gays.  The sponsors say this was not the intent but one can read the bill either way and at its essence, it creates a slippery slope that is dangerous morally, constitutionally and politically. Had Jan Brewer not vetoed it on Wednesday, It would have been the  equivalent to giving the White House a whip with which they can beat conservatives to insensibility. 

Immigration is privately for bringing out the Hispanic vote and "Universal Pre-K seems to be for minorities but is really for the Teachers union. Legalizing "pot" is not for health reasons but for the youth vote.  The attempted FCC news room putsch and the IRS restrictions on the political speech of 501 ( c ) ( 4 ) non profit organizations have blown up in the face of the political operatives in the White House in large part because liberals are now  complaining the loudest at least about the IRS. 

And this is only the 1st of March!  As we get closer to November no law or part of the Constitution regarding individual rights will be safe from this gang of progressive Fascists.  All of us should bear in mind when we see a new manufactured crisis emanating from the White House and being championed by the "Mainstream" news cabal...that it will be one thing on its face and another when you do your research.  Just don't believe them or  even better do your own analysis.  The country is on the rocks and saving it and the Constitution that is its core, is the only issue we really have to consider.
