Barack Obama may have been too cute for words with his Executive Action on Immigration timed to be in sync with the Latin Grammy's.  His pandering like his lying simply knows no bounds.  Even if you believe that he had some uber prosecutorial discretion for not deporting millions of illegal foreign nationals, he did not have any constitutional authority to grant them Work Authorization Permits and Social Security Cards which despite his protestations to the contrary are the gateway to almost every Federal benefit.  Besides if you are still one of the dwindling few who still believe this man please buy one of my bridges in NYC!

 

This was a callous and ultimately cruel act of political trickery disguised as compassion to avoid the ripping apart of the families of the "Dreamers"  he created  in 2012 through DACA.  His prosecutorial discretion or amnesty or whatever you may want to call it however is not tied to any Immigration Law passed by Congress.

 

It is ironic that and disingenuous that Obama and his supporters of his illegal overreach want to justify it by saying the Senate passed a bi-partisan comprehensive bill in 2013 that the House refused to pass and thus the President now gets to make law on his own.

 

According to a detailed Heritage Foundation analysis, the so called "Gang of 8" bill was a seriously flawed bill that granted amnesty and path to citizenship to 11.5 million illegal foreign nationals and authorized billions of dollars of spending without the guarantee of a secure border.  The cost to the taxpayers would have been trillions of dollars which would have increased both spending and the debt enormously because of the huge dependency on government it would have engendered.  The already bloated Federal bureaucracy would have become morbidly obese.  Hidden in the bill was also tons of pork and sweeping new powers for DHS which is turning  into this administration's  version of a secret police.

 

 On a moral basis more than 4 million people are waiting in line to come here legally.  They are paying outrageous fees for forms and verification documents and doing everything by the book yet Washington just doesn't seem to give a damn about them.  Last but not least the bill disregarded federalism by not bringing the States into the process.  

 

The fact that supporters of amnesty keep harping on this bill is supposed to make the public forget that the House passed over 370 bills many with bi-partisan support or even Democratic sponsorship, that Harry Reid refused to let see the light of day as per his instructions from Obama.  What Chutzpa!

 

As he tugged at the heartstrings of America  which even included the invocation of scripture, he even lied about the "record" number of deportations his administration had performed which is a fiction since he has included people caught at the border and sent back immediately.  No other administration has done this because of the obvious fraud it creates statistically.

 

Moreover his illegal action will double New York Medicaid costs without the Feds paying their 50% share.  New York also has 350,000 illegal foreign students in the public school systems of the state pursuant  to Federal law.   This year another 5,000 will join them with State and City officials predicting many more in the years ahead.  These are serious revenue and tax consequences caused by Presidential decree.

 

Obama knows that a new President can wipe out what he has done with a flick of a pen.  He is trying to tie his successor's hands by making a repeal by Executive Action too politically destructive and suicidal. 

 

Again he has used the hopes and aspirations of millions of decent people looking for a better life for cheap political gain.  They are pawns in a cynical attempt to make the new progressive  neo fascism the dominant political  ethos.

 

So we are left with the question of what should the country, the GOP and the Constitutionalists do to restore the rule of law and prevent this rogue President from destroying the nation?

 

One answer lies in de-funding  what he attempting to do by reducing the fees for every one of the  myriad CIS forms, applications and processes to $0.  Years ago when Washington thought that a comprehensive Immigration was imminent they tripled  the fees on virtually  everything to pay for it .  The legislation didn't happen but the fees stayed.  If Obama is going to play his violin for compassion then what could be more compassionate than this?  The message to CIS should be do more with less and give the long line of legals applicants a break.

 

But the most intriguing thing is the distinct possibility that Obama has now place a giant Constitutional albatross around his own neck.  If the new Congress begins to pass legislation   directly related  to the content of the Executive Action either in whole or in part and  Obama  vetoes  these bills, what is he saying to the nation and indeed the world... The law I made is superior to the law or laws Congress made? 

 

This would be a new and  far more serious breach of the separation of powers than what he had even done previously.  The Congress would have acted in accordance with it duties and obligations.  How could even this President ignore it and say his unconstitutional fiat stands above all else? 

 

Of course it is utterly possible that he would do it simply to create more chaos.  Let him... and keep sending bill after bill to his desk until it is apparent to all but those who too blind to see or too corrupt to care, that Washington gridlock and dysfunction has always been the bastard child of the 44th President of the United States.

 A TERRIBLE RESOLVE

 

Barack Obama went to Beijing and  the country received   a symbolic  t-shirt saying " Obama went to China and all we got was higher energy prices and more lost jobs while China gave up nothing"  The results of this farce  will fall most heavily of course, on the working class and middle class of the nation.

 

While the far left "Greens" and sycophant Obama press swoons over this mythical game changer, much of the real story  goes untold.

 

First, President Xi simply agreed verbally in a non binding format to do what China was already planning to do by 2030 without this agreement.

 

Second, the U.S. would be made even more economically weak if we were to cut the emission rates for the nation that Obama promised Xi.  Already reports are circulating that he has a slew of Executive Orders ready to fulfill this pledge.

 

Third and the piece not discussed at all is that Xi and his new best friend, Putin, both know  that the politics of this phony agreement will add to the mass turmoil, Obama is planning domestically to stop the new majority in the Country and de facto nullify the 2014 mid-term elections.  While the U.S. rips itself apart thanks to a hard left partisan press, China will continue to rearm in its bid to become the leading economic and military power in both Asia and the world.  Russia likewise will have free and easy sailing to continue to threaten  Eastern Europe, Western Europe and Central Asia.

 

Fourth, the cabal of friends and enemies who use this nation for their own selfish reasons, do not want to see the U.S. become either energy independent or a reliable energy exporter because it will lower the world wide price and dramatically reduce the energy strangle  hold that  dangerous countries have on the rest of us.  Obama will be complicit in this by refusing to sign the XL Keystone pipeline deal because that now would be in contradiction  to his bogus deal with Xi.

 

So this is just one more political tactic in helping to keep this President on course to weaken this country in the eyes of both friends and foes.

 

Like wise his "go it alone" policy on the non urgent issue of illegal alien amnesty as opposed to the urgent issue of closing the borders, is just another major arrow in his quiver to control the national debate on virtually everything while daring the GOP to impeach the country's first black President while he  attempts to create a permanent progressive majority. 

 

The nation should demand at a minimum if he does this, that the names, addresses and other vital data of these illegals be put in a digital data base to be checked against other data bases for criminal activity, failure to report to CIS, Social Security numbers, tax returns, driver registrations, terror watch lists and most importantly a nation wide digital data base on voter registration and actual voting that is compiled before any amnesty registration goes forward.  Further the CIS should be required to compare this nationwide voter data base with the last 25 years of when people were naturalized as opposed to when they began voting.  Violators of any of the above should be stripped of citizenship and/or deported.

 

He has other issues ready to go also.  Secret letters to the Ayatollah and trying Taliban POWs in civilian courts are just two issues he intends to turn into national issues to gum up the works. But have faith more will come.  Just wait until the Ferguson Grand Jury report comes out!  The new AG designee, Loretta Lynch is going to have her work cut out for her if the confirmation process is thorough and non partisan when she is questioned about the last six years.

 

Obama and the radical progressive left are merely following the rules in "Rules for Radicals" by the late Saul Alinsky who admired Lenin, Stalin, Mao and Lucifer whom he called the first radical.  His mentor in real life was Frank Nitti, legendary gang boss of Chicago and successor to Al Capone.

Alinsky preached total control of the agenda by raising emotional issues to a fever pitch coupled with unrelenting and vicious personal attacks on the opposition.  Alinsky and Obama both combine Chicago thug politics in a totalitarian framework.  Sounds like Putin to me.

 

Obama has two years to fundamentally transform us by fundamentally destroying us.  Political correctness, multiculturalism and lying about big stuff and small stuff have been his mass weapons of this destruction.

 

As I have said and written before, the new majority cannot allow this man to control the political agenda and the fate of the nation any longer. 370 bills have passed the House to help restore the nation to prosperity and military strength.  Harry Reid can no longer block these and assist Obama in killing the country.  The new Senate should  send one bill a week to the Presidents desk and dare him to either pass it or veto it and then face the consequences.

 

Even repeal and replacement of the ill named "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act" is now on the table because of the arrogance of Professor Gruber  who has admitted at least three times on tape that it was all a lie to snooker the "stupid American voters".  Pelosi now denies she knows this man even though she praised him in 2009.  The fact that the Dems in the House re-elected her as minority leader should be worth millions of votes to the GOP in 2016.

 

Meanwhile Gruber and his elitist  ilk  should heed the words of Admiral Yamamoto  after Pearl Harbor "I fear all we have done is awaken a sleeping giant and filled it with a terrible resolve"! 

 

The Obama years have become one huge pile up on the highway after another. It way past the time  for someone who knows how to drive and who does not just use the country as a demolition derby.

A SYMPHONY OF TREACHERY

 

Barack  Obama took a far worse "shellacking" on Tuesday November 4th 2014 than he had in 2010 but you would never know it to hear him talk about it a day later.

 

Repudiated by his own party for a year, the GOP wave rolled in and all he really had to say in effect was that none of it was about him.  Apparently in his imagination the two thirds of the electorate who stayed home were still his voters and there fore he was still master of the universe. 

 

The Republican drubbing was both wide and deep and included a majority in the U.S. Senate, a gain of 14 seats in the House, 60% of all the Governorships and an increase in control of state legislatures from 60 to 69.  The people were more than angry ...they have had enough!.

 

Charles Krauthammer sagely opined that Obama would not offer an olive branch to the GOP because that would weaken his intention and need to be relevant once again.  Thus he threw down the gauntlet of a unilateral fiat by executive decree for millions of illegal aliens to be given amnesty while open borders would in all probability remain open out of political need for a weakened party.

 

Then he doubled and tripled down by the disclosure of a new secret letter to the Ayatollah Khamenei for military support against ISIS in return for alleviating sanctions  and guarantees  that Iran could continue to enrich as long as they would "promise" not to become a nuclear military power.  Next he decided to try a Russian born Taliban POW in a U.S. Federal Court as a trial balloon designed  to finally shut down Gitmo and transfer all remaining POWs to Super Max facilities in the U.S.. 

 

All of the above and especially his immigration ultimatum is designed to sow confusion and anger in the ranks of the new majority.  It is a tactic he has used successfully for most of his six years as President.  It is also only tangentially about immigration, ISIS and Gitmo.  He knows these are hot button issues for the GOP and are designed to make them throw away their victory out of rage. 

 

More than that it is about both Obama's psyche and his true agenda which many talk about privately but not publicly for fear of ridicule.  He is daring the new majority to impeach him because he knows that this would suck all of the oxygen out of the nation for the remaining two years of his term.  It would place the country into uncharted territory that might well end in racial and civil conflict the likes we have not seen since 1860.  He will attempt to goad the GOP until they are at the limits  of normal restraint  and he will always be at the center of this storm he has created, cool , calm and collected...the ultimate victim awaiting a national crucifixion.

 

A second and important  part of this to understand is that this national crisis he will generate will be his coup de grace for the nation...a fitting climax for his agenda that has always been his true one...the one which "no one dares speak it's name."

 

Go back and analyze every action this President has taken during his six years and tell me truthfully that the vast majority of them have not hurt the country, economically, politically, culturally, defensively and Constitutionally.  The fact is that when you connect the dots you begin to see a clear pattern designed to weaken and bring down the nation.  This phony battle for the rights of people who are here illegally is simply the crescendo of a symphony of treachery.

 

The new majority cannot let this happen.  They must be disciplined and restrain themselves from falling into Obama's trap and begin immediately  looking for plaintiffs with standing to sue him over immigration.   They must not let him dominate the agenda by passing legislation and sending a bill a week to his desk to grow the economy, grant tax relief, achieve energy independence, restore U.S. military superiority in the world, repeal the most destructive parts of ObamaCare, repatriate $2 Trillion in money earned abroad,   make the U.S. Corporate Tax Rate the lowest in the world, scrap the IRS Code and the IRS by replacing it with a flat tax or fair tax, fix Medicare and Social Security before it is too late and "defang" the regulatory agencies that have crippled our economy, job creation, and home ownership and lending.  If necessary defund these new fourth branches of Government and the Presidents  illegal immigration mandate  as well.

 

The smart way to stop this man from his serial unlawful behavior is to turn his radical party against him out of sheer fear they will lose in 2016 if they continue to either support him or remain silent as to his actions.  He will not have Harry Reid, the "Uriah Heep" of modern politics to cover for him any longer, a man  who  killed over 360 bills passed by the House, many with Democratic support.  These and other  bills critical to the life of the nation will now have to be either signed or vetoed and this will force many to see Obama for who and what he really is.

 

The reign of Obama has been one long campaign built on his charisma.  All that is gone and he has been exposed as the snake in the garden. He has used the White House as a cloister, shutting out all but those who are true believers and those who work inside a building that has become in fact, a prison of his own ego.  He represents and has represented,  no one except himself and those who hate this country.  He has not been a real President but he has played one on TV.  To heal this country the new majority has to beat at his own game.

THE CURSE OF MODERN CULTURE

The new alternative culture is in reality the old traditional culture.  The Progressives who were once  Fascists and Communists, have taken what once was commonly shared and historic morality, values, rights and common sense and made them political .  Once they have been repositioned as such, they have been attacked, compromised, made immoral and then destroyed. 

 

Mark Steyn makes perhaps the most salient point of the of our current political situation when he states "you can't have conservative government in a liberal culture".  Steyn is not alone in understanding that culture drives politics and not the other way around.  That's why the hard left has invested so much time and effort in the subjugation of the arts, the media and the academy. 

 

These are the gaps in the lines where the progressive invasion have attacked and laid waste to  traditional  America even as the census numbers still reflect a center-right majority.  The thrust of the progressive cultural putsch has been to dismiss and demean the traditional  values of "old" America such as patriotism, free speech, a free press,  religious rights, the nuclear family, the melting pot, the sanctity of unalienable individual rights, rugged individualism, American  exceptionalism, a free market system, respect for the law, the military and the flag, sobriety, chastity, the second amendment,  equal opportunity not equal outcomes, and national unity when foreign affairs and national defense takes us to the waters edge.

 

In the place of all of this, these new Gauleiters  promote global citizenship, group rights, multiculturalism, intolerance towards Christianity and Judaism in particular and unlimited tolerance towards Islam by contrast, an American history dominated by racism, homophobia, sexism and ethnic bigotry,  massive dependency on the Government, all rights emanating from the Government, income redistribution and equality of outcomes based on statistical models, nanny state socialism, disarming the American population, sexualizing our children at the earliest possible age through  public school curricula labled as social justice,  crony  capitalism and crony socialism,  legalization of drugs, the emasculation  of boys and men, raising unlimited Abortion to the level of a civil right, selective law enforcement, censorship, hate speech, and vicious intolerance towards any one, any group or any philosophy that disagrees with those who dictate to the new Jacobin culture.

 

The media, entertainment industry and academia have promoted this new dominant culture for generations.  The old America in the throes of economic decline, uncertainty and weakness at home and abroad stands  like a punch drunk fighter absorbing too many blows to fight back, dazed and wondering where their world went. 

 

Conservatives, independents, libertarians and even moderates are still for the most part behind the cultural curve.  They can't defend their historic way of life because it has become so estranged from what their children have been taught and now believe.  The new replacement culture is edgy, hip and debauched with no edge to the envelope.  It has no boundaries in the name of progress and inclusivity and figuratively tries to guns down  the despised old  guard like an ISIS killing squad in a blood frenzy.   At its virulent , poisonous center is the reality  that  it is a recipe for chaos  and anarchy because a world without stable and fair rules is nothing more than a jungle.  For these hyper-secular libertines with a cult like devotion to celebrity idolatry, nostalgia means the good old days of the Emperor Caligula.  

 

Modern progressives like their communist, fascist, and pagan antecedents always fail in the end because people will revolt over their repression, lack of a spiritual and moral center and nonsensical anti-freedom dogma.  People who accept the best of western and other peaceful civilizations as a fact of nature, want to be free and independent.  If they are not, soon or later they will begin to fight back.

 

The battle at hand is to take back the culture and that means that simply ignoring the new culture as an aberration must end.  Governor Mike Huckabee reminds us that there are 80 million Evangelical  Christians in America and only half are registered to vote.  Only half of them moreover, do vote.  If this demographic is not ready to defend the old culture than who will be?

 

It all begins with saying "no"..."stop"..."no more"...and finally "you have gone too far".  We need to start demanding  instead of being the ones under assault. For example, we need to demand an equal number of conservative academics at state universities where the taxpayer pay the freight. We need mandatory imprisonment for those who rig or cheat at elections.  We want a balanced teaching of American History and a solid grounding in civics and how government is supposed to work. Parents need to be in control of their children's moral education and not the state. We need to decide not to listen to or watch media or entertainment that mocks, lies about and ridicules the beliefs and values we love and cherish.  People of faith and our clerics must storm back into the public square and become a major part of the national conversation.  After all is said and done all we want is a return to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness  on our terms and not  that of a culture that has corrupted our politics and turned our government into despotism.   We are still the majority and we have had enough!   I want the America my old man left me and so should we all.
